CWS Hired by Rand Construction for Decorative/Privacy Window Film Installation Project in D.C.

WASHINGTON – Commercial Window Shield has been retained by rand construction for multi-faceted privacy/decorative window film installation project in the nation’s capital.

The project, for rand client Crowell & Moring LLP, involves decorative film installation on five floors of a building at 600 5th St. NW that rand is renovating.

Commercial Window Shield will be installing the privacy window film on all interior office, conference room and elevator lobby glass on each of the five floors.

The company will be installing three different types of decorative/privacy window films. They include:

  • A 4-foot horizonal strip of decorative film will be installed on all office glass fronts
  • For the conference rooms, a privacy film will cover the entire glass fronts
  • On the elevator lobby glass, Commercial Window Shield will install a decorative film with Crowell & Moring’s logo integrated into the film

Buildout of the five floors by rand already has begun. Commercial Window Shield, working closely with the contractor, will begin its decorative/privacy window film installation later in the year’s first quarter.

Commercial Window Shield has a close working relationship with rand, having collaborated on several recent projects.
